The following are the core beliefs of Life Church San Antonio based on the foundational truths taught in the bible.

About God:
There is one and only one living and true God. He is an intelligent, spiritual, and personal Being, the Creator, Redeemer, Preserver, and Ruler of the universe. We believe that He is triune, meaning God reveals Himself to us as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, with distinct personal attributes, but without division of nature, essence, or being.
How God Reveals Himself:
God made himself know through the person of Jesus Christ, Through the scripture and through creation.
About the Scriptures:
The Holy Bible was written by men divinely inspired and is God’s revelation of Himself to man. It is a perfect treasure of divine instruction.
About Humanity:
Man is the special creation of God, made in His own image. All humanity has intrinsic dignity and worth.
About Sin:
In the beginning man was innocent of sin and was endowed by his Creator with freedom of choice. By his free choice man sinned against God and brought sin into the human race. This fractured all things and lead us to the need for salvation.
About Salvation:
Salvation involves the redemption of the whole man, and is offered freely to all who accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone in Christ alone.
About the Church:
We believe that the church is the Body of Christ, It’s purpose is to work together to shine forth the Glory of God and to make the invisible Kingdom visible in our midst.
About the Kingdom of God:
The Kingdom of God includes both His general sovereignty over the universe and His particular kingship over men who willingly acknowledge Him as King. We believe the Kingdom is the realm of salvation that mankind enters by placing their faith in Jesus. The full consummation of the Kingdom will happen at the return of Jesus Christ and the end of this age.
About Baptism:
Christian baptism is the immersion of a believer in water in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. It is an act of obedience symbolizing the believer’s faith in a crucified, buried, and risen Savior.
About Communion:
The Lord’s Supper is a symbolic act of obedience whereby members of the church, through partaking of the bread and the cup, memorialize the death of the Redeemer and anticipate His second coming.
